Tegan & Sara in-store - Wednesday 9/1 @ 2:30pm

• Saturday, Aug. 28 @ 4pm -- GG King; @ 5pm -- All Night Drug Prowling Wolves
• Wednesday, Sept. 1 @ 2:30pm -- Tegan and Sara
• Thursday, Sept. 2 @ 7:00pm -- Jay Day teaser show w/ Mourdella & Hip to Death
• Friday, Sept. 3 @ 5:00pm -- The Love Language (Last minute addition!)
• Tuesday, Sept. 7 @ 7:00pm -- The Charlatans (OMG!!!)
• Friday, Sept. 3 @ time TBD -- Best Coast (Yayer!)

On a related note (related because it is awesome), Scott Pilgrim vs The World is showing at the Plaza Theatre this week. Go see it. Show us your Plaza ticket stub and get $1 off the soundtrack CD or LP. Do it!

Now, here is the full scoop on next Wednesday's fabulous in-store event:

TEGAN AND SARA WILL BE PERFORMING AN ACOUSTIC SHOW AT CRIMINAL RECORDS ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST, AT 2:30PM. This is a free and all-ages in-store event.

Due to capacity issues, fans must pick up a wristband from the store* in advance to attend this event. Wristbands will be distributed while supplies last.

No purchase is required to get a wristband (although purchases are always welcome and appreciated). The wristbands are free and limited to one per person. Wristbands are available on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis. No holds, and no phone calls please!

SIGNING INFORMATION:
There is a LIMITED autograph/meet-n-greet session with Tegan and Sara after the in-store performance. This is limited to 50 fans, and access to this portion of the event REQUIRES A TEGAN AND SARA PURCHASE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT. Posters ($5, cash only) and bandanas ($10, cash only), along with their latest album (CD or LP, any payment method accepted), will be available for purchase. The first 50 fans to make a purchase of one of these items will be granted access to the signing.

PLEASE NOTE:
The store may be closed for up to an hour before the set time for sound check. The line for the in-store event will start outside (remember our line for the Scott Pilgrim signing? It'll be like that). There is a chance that the line may be long, so come prepared (bring water, snacks, and/or sunscreen, and please be aware that Criminal Records does not have a public restroom). Your wristband only guarantees your entrance into the store for the show; it does not guarantee your place in line. While photographs are allowed at this event, there is NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY during the performance.

JUST IN CASE YOU DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW:
Tegan and Sara will also be playing at the Gwinnett Arena later that night with Paramore.


Six years, people. SIX YEARS! That's how long I've been asking for a Tegan and Sara in-store. And it's finally happening. Next Wednesday, September 1st, at 2:30pm. See you then...
