After much rehearsal, the entire album was recorded in two days. “I figured after doing my last record in one day, that if I spent two days on this record, it's gonna sound twice as good, right?” says Bare.

New album from the Georgetown, KY bluegrass band.

Doug Benson - Hypocritical Oaf CD+DVD (Comedy Central)

Ryan Bingham & The Dead Horses - Junky Star CD/2xLP (Lost Highway)
Junky Star was written by Bingham and performed by his longtime band The Dead Horses, featuring Matt Smith (drums), Elijah Ford (bass) and Corby Shaub (guitar/mandolin). Originally released in 1970, Bitches Brew became Davis' first gold album. This 40th Anniversary three-disc package offers the original album on two CDs plus rare bonus audio material and a DVD of the entire previously unreleased Copenhagen performance from November 4, 1969.

Devil's Brigade is an all-star punk group featuring Matt Freeman and Tim Armstrong of Rancid and DJ Bonebrake, drummer of X and The Knitters.

Bill Frisell - Beautiful Dreamers CD (Savoy Label Group)
Grammy-winning guitarist and composer Bill Frisell returns with a new project and a new ensemble, Beautiful Dreamers -- a trio consisting of Frisell on guitar, Eyyvind Kang on viola and Rudy Royston on drums.

This private press album was recorded as the soundtrack for an underground film production by (later to be) renowned television director Ian Hamilton.

In the mid-Seventies Lee “Scratch” Perry’s forward-looking productions at Black Ark studio anticipated remix culture and achieved a spaced-out otherness. This disc contains rarities including one-off dub mixes that were only ever aired on Jamaican sound systems.
